Solid wood box, box and inside and outside two sides are hard, elastic, shockproof and seismic capacity is very poor, must fill polystyrene foam or paper, cotton and other buffer products to ensure that the goods are not damaged.
The biggest problem of wooden packing box is the contradiction with the protection of ecological environment. Wooden packing box consumes wood, and the growth rate of wood is far behind the consumption of wooden packing box. China is a country with abundant forest resources, with a forest coverage rate of about 13%, ranking the 120th among 160 countries in the world. In recent years, due to the deforestation and deforestation, only no species can be cut, the forest resources are consumed rapidly, resulting in serious soil and water loss and increasing natural disasters. In addition, wooden packing boxes are also faced with difficulties in the transportation of export commodities. Since September 17th, 1998, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and the European Union have issued orders to prohibit the entry of solid wood packing boxes without fumigation, high temperature heat treatment or anti-corrosion treatment in China. This has brought great impact on our export trade. It is important to know that the wood heat treatment needs to be dried by steam for 3 to 5 days at 100 `c temperature, so that the moisture content of wood is less than 8% to completely kill all kinds of harmful organisms including insect eggs. The cost is high and difficult, so the country needs to develop new packaging materials.
2、 Wood based panel packing box
Artificial board is a kind of board or molded product which is made of wood or other non wood plants, and is separated into various unit materials after certain machining and without adhesive and other additives. It mainly includes plywood, particleboard and fiberboard.
Its advantages are: first, the wood-based board packaging box is the first choice for high-weight goods packaging in the market. Second, the board has large area, good structure, simple operation technology, so it has good sealing and waterproof properties. Third, the export of the artificial board packing box is free of fumigation, and can be directly exported, and the procedures are simple. Fourth, the surface is smooth and easy to print.
The disadvantage is that the rubber layer will aging, the long-term bearing capacity is poor, and the service life is shorter than that of solid wood. Cost is cheaper than solid wood and plastic board, but higher than corrugated paper and honeycomb paper.
In general, the artificial board packing box is a high cost-effective packing box.
3： Plastic plate packing box
Plastic board packing box is made of plastic mould casting; the strength is lower than solid wood board and higher than corrugated paper, easy to clean and can be reused. It is especially suitable for the transportation packaging of goods requiring recycling bottles such as beer and beverage. However, plastic is a kind of chemical product, which is brittle, not easy to regenerate, seriously polluted, and has been restricted by more and more. In the long run, it is a packaging to be eliminated.
4： Corrugated cardboard packing box
Corrugated board is made of corrugated paper core and face paper. Corrugated board can be divided into single corrugated (three layers), double corrugated (five layers) and multiple corrugated (seven layers and nine layers), the more layers, the thicker the board and the higher the strength. The corrugated shape can be divided into V-shape, U-shape and UV shape; according to the shape and size of corrugated board, corrugated board has four types: A, B, C and E.
The advantages of walleng carton are light, have certain buffer performance, rich resources, cheap price, easy to recycle waste treatment, smooth and flat surface, easy to print words and trademarks.
But corrugated cardboard boxes also have disadvantages: one is to load less heavy goods. According to national standards, the load of five layer corrugated cardboard box shall not exceed 55kg, and the seven layer corrugated cardboard box shall be lined with hard plate when the load exceeds 70kg. The softer, the size of the box is also limited. Generally, corrugated board box is below 0.5 cubic meters, and it is the most suitable to bear 10-15kg of goods. The second is that the ability of anti - puncture is worse than that of wood, artificial board and plastic board. The third is that the bending resistance of corrugated board is different in the different directions, and the transverse bending strength is 29 times higher than that of the longitudinal, and the corrugated cardboard box at the bottom layer is easy to deform and expand when stacking. Fourth, the moisture resistance is poor, afraid of rain.
5： Honeycomb cardboard box
Honeycomb structure is made by human beings, which is based on the principle of hexagonal honeycomb built by natural bees. The paper honeycomb composite material, honeycomb paper core composite board, was made by applying it to cardboard. The honeycomb paper core composite board is made of box board paper with two layers of top and bottom paper or single corrugated board or artificial board with strong anti puncture ability. The middle layer of hexagonal honeycomb paper core is glued. Honeycomb cardboard packing box has many outstanding advantages:
1. High strength. Honeycomb paper core has strong compressive and bending resistance due to its unique mechanical structure. The test shows that the paper is made into honeycomb shape, and its vertical compressive strength is 100 times that of the other side. The honeycomb paper with a gram of weight can bear 800 grams of gravity without deformation, which is 20-75.6 times of five-layer corrugated board.
2. Good elasticity and shock resistance. The honeycomb core composite board is characterized by its inner honeycomb structure, which makes its elastic range change when it is impacted by external forces, resulting in strong seismic capacity. When packing goods, it is unnecessary to add polystyrene foam plastic. It can be seen from the test that the damage rate of the products packed with honeycomb paper core composite board packaging box has been reduced by more than 1 times. The board is soft on both sides, so it is suitable for the shipment of light and high-grade and precious fragile goods within 1kg to 150kg, and can replace the five layer corrugated cardboard box.
3. The load is large. The test results show that the load of the composite board with the thickness of 10 mm is 0.5-3 tons / m2, which is 2-10 times of the five layer corrugated board, which can replace the solid wood board. The range of packing weight ranges from several kilograms to thousands of kilograms. If it is honeycomb board with composite fiber board and three-way board outside, it can even carry more than ten tons of overweight goods. At present, this kind of super honeycomb board is not used in China.
4. Light weight. Because of the structural characteristics of honeycomb board, its material is only the same area, the same thickness of solid board 31.6%, the weight of honeycomb board is only 2/3 of the weight of the same size corrugated paper packaging box, about 1/3 of the weight of the same size wooden box
5. Low cost. Because the honeycomb board is less than corrugated board, the honeycomb paper core can be used with cheap recycled paper (straw paper), wheat straw and straw as raw materials, and the resources are very rich, so the cost of honeycomb cardboard box is only 2/3 of the cost of corrugated cardboard box of the same thickness and 1/3 of the cost of wooden board box.
6. It will not pollute the environment. Honeycomb core composite panels are packed with honeycomb paperboard and honeycomb paperboard as packing material instead of styrofoam when packaging valuable and fragile goods. The honeycomb paper core composite board can be recycled as pulp completely. If it is abandoned and decomposed completely in nature, it is a real green packaging material.
